Police charge Barrow man with drug offences

Barrow police have charged a local man with drug offences following a raid at a local shop.



49 year old Wayne Moffatt, of Lumley Street, Barrow has been charged with Possession with intent to supply Class B drugs, between 16th April to 25th May 2010, and Possession of Class C drugs.

The charges follow a warrant that was executed under the misuse of drugs act at a shop on Duke Street, Barrow where a quantity of drugs were seized on 25 May 2010.

Moffatt has been bailed to appear at Furness and District Magistrates Court on the 12th October.

    I hope now he can be banned from serving the public whether it be in a pub, shop, wherever.
